Lim Kock
Hooi is the present Managing Partner of the firm since January 2009. He was previously Senior Legal Counsel with PETRONAS, the national oil
company of Malaysia, for 7 years, acting as legal adviser on upstream oil
and gas contracts and petroleum-related joint ventures within Malaysia and
in the South East Asian region.
Prior to being legal counsel with PETRONAS, he practised as a petroleum
geologist for 8 years, being largely involved in acreage evaluation within
Malaysia and South East Asia in the later part of his career. As a result of
his varied experience in a legal/commercial/technical environment, he is
familiar with relevant issues in the petroleum industry from different
perspectives.
He joined Azman, Davidson & Co as a partner in 1996.
