The firm has a niche in the areas of arbitration, adjudication and mediation as dispute resolution processes. There is a compelling trend as seen in other Commonwealth countries that construction dispute resolution would shift to statutory adjudication. Azman Davidson & Co have successfully used these various processes to resolve complicated business or commercial disputes particularly in building contracts, oil and gas contracts and insurance coverage matters. In recognising the experience of the firm in this area, members of the firm have been involved in the drafting of the new Arbitration Act 2005 and the presently proposed Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act.
